Seeking info on Bird & Lucas
Can anyone help with idea's on where to go now?
I am seeking information on Bird & Lucas Pty Ltd, a company registered in NSW.
ASIC Historical report states the ACN 000 020 084 BIRD & LUCAS PTY LTD and it was deregistered in 1985.
From the Sand's Directories I have found they were Iron & Brass Founders at Phillip St, Glebe.
The Lucas in this partnership was Daniel Lucas (my 2nd Great Uncle) which is why I am interested, he was actually responsible for bringing 4 of his siblings and his nephew to Australia

The Bird in this partnership could be Richard Bird who was a witness to the marriage of Daniel's nephew Andrew Paton Lucas to Margaret Mackenzie on 28 Dec 1912 at the Presbyterian Church, Marrickville, NSW.
I would like to find out when they established, what they made, any advertising flyers basically anything at all about the Company.
Sometimes not being a member of a society nor having the time to sit in one researching is a real pain. So I will gladly receive any and all help or suggestions on where to go with this one!
