Sorry people, while I believe guest books are a fantastic tool for leaving info and making connections, they are the proverbial spam catchers! Since I installed it my email spam has steadily increased to a peak of 6,000 during the past week, enough is enough, until I find a better way we are bookless..my apologies... PLEASE feel free to use the Guest Map instead to leave your thoughts

ATTENTION ALL PAST & PRESENT FAMILY, FRIENDS & FELLOW GENEALOGISTS!

Being the smart cookie that I am I was partitioning my hard drives into sections and promptly wiped both of them! Luckily for me I had recently backed up all my files BUT I forgot to backup Outlook and lost all EMAILS & ADDRESSES. So if you have sent me an email and I have not responded it is not because I am rude just that I lost the email, so PLEASE send me another. The same goes for all past contacts, please drop me a line and refresh your acquaintance with a new email so I can add you to my Address book!

For those in the know sometimes you can avoid fate for a little while by sidestepping BUT if it is meant to happen it is going to happen one way or another! In November last year I locked myself out of my system by forgetting my password, no matter what I tried I couldn't get in, the only alternative was to purchase a new hard drive as the main drive and access all my info on the old drive via the new one. Great! Saved my work, had more storage space and a poorer pocket but hey all was safe!. Promptly backed everything up, well so I thought, just in case. Ha Ha Ha, as I said you can sidestep fate, but it will eventually get you!
